[Big John’s Place Review] 신맵당 SINMAPDANG

Today, we are going to introduce, 신맵당 SINMAPDANG!
Famous for how spicy its food can get (it gets up to a tears inducing level 4) , SINMAPDANG is the ultimate crazy spicy food and ribs lover to go place.

With 10 over outlets, over Korea and 3 in Seoul (Hongdae, Dolgoji and Gangnam), SINMAPDANG have earn itself some strong chilli contenders. The Gangnam outlet is located on the 2nd floor with Chicago Pizza & Pub on the 1st floor.

When we visited on a Thursday night at 9pm, the place was 80% full !

Onboard the rib fondue fad! We ourselves had the spicy galbizzim on the right!

With spicy level up to level 4, we opted for a friendly level 1. (Which already got our perspiration dripping…)

Making 주먹밥 (Fist-sized rice ) with mentaiko roe,tuna and seaweed. More seaweed can be provided upon request. (Then you can cover the rice with seaweed, like ours)

Cheese fondue. Doing the grate cheese fondue challenge(of who can pull the longest cheese).

For a limited period of time, if you check in or tag SINMAPDANG on SNSes (such as facebook, twitter, instagram etc), you can redeem yourself an ade ! (Definitely the drink to wash away the spicy-ness!)

For those eating the cheese fondue with ribs, you can mix in rice and make it into fried rice in the end ! A great way to end the dinner !
