[Big John’s Place Review] 오마에 O-Mae

The Number 1 most exported cuisine of Korea is probably Korean BBQ and how can you not try some of the authentic ones in Korea?
But unfortunately, most Korean BBQ is catered to at least 2 person and above. And even if you do order 2 person’s portion, how can you ignore the stares of people beside you like you have no friend ?

But fret not, O-Mae to the rescue!
O-mae serves Yakiniku aka Korean BBQ in Japanese style. The prices are pretty steep(with the beef ribs starting at 18,000won) and here you can order portion for one.
And most importantly because of the restaurant layout and the clientele, it is not hard to meet another single diner like yourself !

The steamed rice with onion, potato and mushroom pictured below, is one of the most ordered side dishes.
The udon is highly recommended as well ! Especially to wash down the grease of the meat with the refreshing broth.

So, say goodbye to rejection (of not allowing one to dine) and also your wallet.
On the bright side, the food here is SOOOOOO good, its worth it ! (Just make sure you dont get too addicted!)
