If you are into spicy food, with franchises all over Korea, Oh Jju (오쭈) is a must eat in Korea.
With the best selling spicy octopus stir fry with samgyupsal (pork belly), whipped cream makgeolli, cheese fondue dip, etc, how can you miss this ?
If you are feeling adventurous, try ordering the Honey Butter Modu Twiggim (Honey Butter Tempura with potato, octopus etc). Cream Makgeolli is a must try (and it is only 4,000won!) or try the fruit series Makgeolli (White grape, Apple mango, Blueberry, Grapefruit and Yuza) at 8,000won for 500cc.
If you upload photos on SNSes or like them on facebook, you can redeem yourself a fried rice or a bottle of drink ! Wow, talk about ways of marketing ~ Free stuffs, I like ~ *wink wink*
We downed the 2 mugs in a sitting ! (Sorry mother, we finished our drink before our meals ~ )
We ordered the basic; house special, 쭈꾸미 (Jjukkumi) with samgyupsal added, cheese fondue and pork tonkatsu. The 쭈꾸미 (Jjukkumi) dish itself consist of Octopus, Glass noodle, Beansprout, Ddeok and the very addictive Korean chilli paste.
Sizzling goodness. It’s not a good idea to be reading food post at night. Or actually any time. Omg, I am hungry again. Let’s hurry and end this post.
And as with most Korean meal involving hot plate, it is time to turn the remaining goodness into fried rice ! Yum Yum ! (You can see John’s very satisfied stomach heheheh)
TIME TO END THE POST AND I AM GOING OFF FOR SOME OH JJU (오쭈) i mean apple !
