[Big John’s Place Review] Fountain Bar Lounge Itaewon

Entrance of Fountain located just behind Hamilton Hotel. So lovely! Here you can see bouncers who will check your ID when it gets late at about 10pm. But if you enter before that, you can just walk in.

Every time we hang out in Itaewon, we always have to visit Fountain Bar Lounge for a little bit because it is just so pretty!

The interior is adorned with hanging plants and flowers and at this time of the year (Christmas) they even have  huge Christmas tree in the building!

We arrived at quite early at Fountain and most of the seats were already taken – this place looks like it’s really popular! And most of the patrons at that time were ladies enjoying a drink or two and having some snacks from their menu. The place starts to get more crowded at about 10pm-11pm with more guys coming in and a lot of expats.

We got a beer and a Black Russian and got rainbow shots with sugared lemon!

Fountain serves all sorts of drinks and have some finger foods as well as slices of pizza. There are 3 floors here. The first floor is where the bar is. The second floor has a pool table, some arcade games and dart boards. The third floor is quieter, usually reserved for VIP guests.

Other than the beautiful interior decoration, we like this place because it is lively, plays the latest pop songs and the bartenders are friendly and nice. We even got some free drinks from them! (Depends on your luck tho. We don’t usually get free drinks. Haha)
